The files below are updates to the 2004 Version of JAT Software's PRINTVIEW
PLUS system. To download the updates below, click on the links by
the appropriate icons and save the ZIP file. You will need to Unzip these
files to access the updates. If you do not have an unzipping utility (e.g.,
PKUNZIP, Winzip), please go to www.winzip.com or
www.pkware.com
to download a version of Winzip or PKWARE. There are README text files
in each ZIP download that will instruct you on how to apply the updates.

the 2004 PRINTVIEW PLUS Federal Instructions application. To install,
copy the FEDINSTR.EXE file into the [X:]\JAT\PP2004 directory on your
PRINTVIEW PLUS terminal. (NOTE: If being installed to a multi-user network
PRINTVIEW PLUS environment, the file must be copied into the [X:]\JAT\PP2004
directory on each client terminal.)

2004 PRINTVIEW PLUS Version 14.0
Please Note: IF YOU HAVE ANY APPLICATION CUSTOMIZATIONS
(I.E., IVR, W-2 FORM PRINTS, W-2C FORM PRINTS), YOU NEED A CUSTOMIZED
UPDATE. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE IF YOU HAVE CUSTOMIZATIONS, PLEASE CONTACT
JAT.
The following are identified problems in PRINTVIEW PLUS 2004 that
were updated.
PRINTVIEW PLUS APPLICATION:
•
The Summary Registers
have total fields at the end of each column. These fields are
doubled when viewing the totals in the registers. This does
NOT affect any Tax Form, W-3 Summary, 1096, or Tax Report prints.
Any filing that may have been completed is still correct.
•
Clients with large database
files noticed a long processing wait when attempting to create
E-mail reissues.
•
The 1042S State Employee
Address field has been modified.
•
There was a misprint in
the Standard/Corporate record layout used for loading 1042S
records.
•
If the password to the
standard JAT login was changed, users will receive an error
when entering any of the Summary Registers.
•
You are unable to make
a 1099 change if you are correcting a SSN that was originally
filed as a TIN.
•
The W-2 Puerto Rico Diskette
Filing feature has been updated.
UTILITY APPLICATION:
•
When creating security,
the "Update User" failed in certain instances.
•
In certain instances,
the "Discard Records" feature was not working.
